Heat treatment:

Quench: 950-980°c oil cooling HRC≥60

Backfire: relieving stress, stable structure 180-200°c two hours   HRC60-62

                 relieving stress, lower hardenss 320-350°c two hours  HRC57-58

Anneal: 830-850°c slow cooling.

Applications:

1.  D6/SKD2 special steel is used in wear stamping die

2.  D6/SKD2 special steel is used in deep die of cold extrusion die.

3.  D6/SKD2 special steel is used for making high precision,cold squeezing mold
